24/7 open access printmaking studio and workshops for the West Midlands
Due to Government Guidelines on COVID-19 we are currently closed to ensure the safety of our members and our community. If you’ve signed up for a course or workshop the member leading the course will be in touch about re-scheduling when restrictions allow the studio to open safely.
Birmingham Printmakers are an artist-led, membership organisation providing printmaking facilities for our members. We are a not-for-profit limited company.
We provide access to our workshop at the Jubilee Centre in Birmingham City Centre, so that people can make prints, develop their artistic practice and explore the art of printmaking. Our facilities include a dark room and equipment for intaglio and relief printing, screen printing, lithography and letterpress printing.
We run printmaking courses for adults at our workshop and deliver bespoke courses off-site for private companies, schools, colleges, universities, community groups, art galleries, museums, hospitals etc.
We have a long and distinguished track record of exhibiting regionally and nationally and are proud to contribute to the cultural life of our city. Our members enjoy 24/7 access to the print studio. Visit our members gallery to see works created by our artist printmakers.
Open access to all our members
24/7 access for local printmakers
We offer our members 24/7 access to the studio. BPM is run by artists for artists, our members are experienced printmakers and are familiar with working practices in a shared studio space. Membership places are available and we encourage local artists to get in touch. Find out more about joining our studio.
