You will learn how to use drypoint techniques to create dynamic marks, remove thin surface layers on mount board or try perspex or metal plates and apply carborundum in a variety of methods for deep tonal areas of interest. You will try carborundum grit and glue, carborundum paste both purchased and home made. We are including printmaking on tetrapak packaging too, as similar techniques are used for mark making and printing. This process lends itself to landscape images, patterns or abstract design and you will learn intaglio aswell as relief printing techniques, in monochrome and colour. Its a jam packed 2 days of printmaking.
