.Kay Lo is an illustrator with a strong passion for experimental printing processes. She is one of the founders of Ink’chacha, the first Risograph studio based in Hong Kong, where she developed her interest in alternative printmaking methods before relocating to the UK. Her current practice focuses on expanding her knowledge of printmaking, particularly through screen printing, where she enjoys combining various techniques with her illustrative work. Kay’s approach is playful and exploratory, often blending texture, colour, and process to push the boundaries of her imagery. Beyond the studio, Kay frequently takes part in print fairs, using them as opportunities to share her work, connect with different audiences, and gather valuable feedback. Through these experiences, she continues to refine her creative voice, exploring how printmaking can enrich illustration and open new ways of storytelling.
